Yup gone back studying game development. This was done all the way back in May. I wanted to do a fantasy weapon in the first place. The final product didn't end up well as I expected but it turned out okay. Texture Maps: Concept: IA came out 27th of January last year meanwhile Luka was released on the 30th of the same month in 2009.
A friend of mine in steam once told me to keep updating this blog. I better start doing that. Honestly there is nothing much I can say since the last post, around that time I spend much of my time in the closed beta of Mechwarrior Online, a fun game despite of its imbalances from time to time. Its currently in open beta now so give it a try.
Now for anything digital art, I thought about taking it slow. I'm working on some new stuff but I dont think I'll be posting the finished versions for a long time. For now I can only show this unfinished Luka fanart. And lastly, have a wonderful Christmas, all of you! Happy birthday to Hatsune Miku! Today is her 5th anniversary. This is the first map I made ever to be published on the net. I made a few rts maps back in the days of starcraft and warcraft 3 but that was before I discovered the internet. And this is NOT my "dream" project (yume is dream in japanese).
I originally intended this was my entry on NAGADEMO last month after me and my friend failed to make an rpgmaker game. since I also failed to finish this at the end of June, I decided to screw it. I will not consider the current version as finished but I think this is playable. This map is made exclusively for Zombie Panic: Source which is a obviously a zombie apocalypse multiplayer mod for Half-life 2. The map can be downloaded in this [link] Edit: I forgot to mention I'm still going to continue working on the map. Future updates will be mostly aesthetics like HDR. I noticed that little counter has passed the 200 mark. Don't know whether to react. This place don't get too many visitors.
Anyway I might have something announced soon. Hopefully it goes well. In the meantime here's my take of of the virtual idol, Hatsune Miku. |
